我呢有两个父母，先为大家介绍我的亲父母呗...
我有个爱唱歌的爸爸，在我眼里，他就像我家的小叮当，当我有什么东西坏了，他都会把它修好，要不然就变个新的东西出来... 爸爸一向都是think positive的，所以一旦我遇到什么不开心，而没办法当面解决的事我都会找他，他会指引我的方向，让我努力地向前..
妈妈呢，是我聊心的对象，自从男友不在后，我什么事都会告诉妈妈，关于我一天发生了什么事啦，关于我朋友拉...什么都告诉妈妈.. 而妈妈也担当了一家之主的重担，天天都忙着... 如果我有回家就会帮他做些家务... 他一直都是我最棒的妈妈..
我呢，有个宅宅的哥哥，现在他不是做工就是玩电脑，只是偶尔会去打打球，和朋友唱K, 但我最展同他做的事就是参加了Sukarela bomba 那是多么了不起的青年啊！
我有个帅帅的弟弟，长得高高的，爱打扮自己，拥有年轻人的想法，实在时髦.. 我弟呢，他是个很听话的人，只要大家互相合作，他都很配合.. 幸亏他是个快成熟的人，没有参到坏朋友，反而会努力向前..也或许是有个努力的姐姐的关系吧...哈哈

我还有另一个家庭，那是我另一个避风港...
在我男朋友离开之后，我融入了他的大家庭里...
我成了他家里的小妹，也就是我有了“干爹干妈”..
感到很欣慰，他们接受我，我也感到很幸福，我的生活因它而改变，他在另一个世界应该也一直这么希望着......
 这是我的第二个避风港, 干妈人很友善... 每次我去找他，他都是嘻嘻哈哈的，天天都笑脸盈人..
干爹呢... 我每次看到他，他都会制造很多笑话来逗我，好可爱，好好笑...

大姐今年才结婚，曾听过良告诉我，大姐人很好，对男朋友更加呵护，而且和男友在一起，只有斗嘴，从来没有吵架.. 我相信他和大姐夫一定会很幸福...
在我眼里，二姐呢是个很有计划和主见的人，他把自己的生活规划得很好，还遇到了一个很疼很爱他的老公，现在还有了我的小侄女Kaitlyn.. 看见他们生活得很开心我也为他感到开心..

我很满足我现在所拥有的，我觉得自己很开心，很幸福...应为我有他们在我身边... 我爱他们， 他们也爱我..... <3 <3

关于我..

突然间有感而发...真的想不通，也不明白..
每个人上了大学，生活都很精彩... 而我却一点也不觉得，我知道读书压力一定是有的，没有人读书不压力，而长辈常说“有压力才会进步”，这点我非常赞同...

对我来说，现在恋爱不重要，但有时看见朋友能和自己的男友聊天，开开心心的是会有点羡慕啦，可是看见情侣吵架自己反倒觉得《单身最好》。但当自己面对困难，受到打击了，又有谁会能是你诉苦的对象呢？

说真的... 讲起我前男友，你说我会有可能这么容易的放手吗？毕竟他什么也没对我说，就这样离开了，时间久了市不会再伤心，但还是会想念有他在的日子，如果他有在或许我的生活就不一样了... 但我很满足我现在拥有的..因为他的家人是多么坚强的渡过那段难受的日子，让我自己也变得坚强，而且最让我开心的是，我是他们家的一分子，让我没有觉得自己其实离他不远，觉得自己内心很踏实，这是他离开后，我感到她送了我最棒的礼物。

我想完成自己的理想，也是他对我的期望，也就是读完大学，我更是有想要读Master呢！妈妈也对我抱着希望，但他总是不会给我任何压力，都会支持我鼓励我，也是我最好的疗伤药。怎么说呢..就是当我伤心，当我遇到了困难，我说话的对象就是他了。所以说呢，当我回到家，家里就是会有我的声音，吵吵的..哈哈

我读书的环境有时真让我喘不过气来。并不是校舍不好，而是朋友之间的关系不是一般的竞争。过了一年半了，我才真正的看清人心... 虽说有时真的是自己惹出来的，但自己的单纯真的很容易去相信他人... 或许我是个没有秘密的人吧，所以会把自己说听到的，所看见的告诉别人，但我想..如果我男友有在，我应该不会告诉别人，只会告诉他...


从我第一个学期进来，我就因Assignment被朋友骂得哭了，但他人永远都不会知道我因为这事哭了... 可是因为这事接下来的group assignment我就没有和他们一组了... 但我也要谢谢他们，让我学会如何去和朋友分工合作把自己的功课做完，但我明白有些人是很不同意我的做法，但对我来说，还是会有人同意的，所以我还是有很棒的组员和我合作..

平常在宿舍的日子都能听到谣言乱飞，我的作风肯定不会是十全十美，更何况以我那固执的性格，更惹人厌，但如果是我做错事，我一定和别人道歉... 我知道有很多人对我不满，还在我背后说了很多，但我总是用我妈告诉的“不要去在乎他人说的，嘴巴是他的，它要怎样说就让他去，只要我不说人，我的罪恶就会减少。” 这样会让我不去在意那么多。但我最不能控制的就是，如果那个人用不爽我的表情和态度来对我说话，我会很生气，当我的人耐度到了极点，我将会反驳... 这事我最不能接受..

这个学期，发生了很多事情，让我自己也学会一个人去面对一切困难，也发觉了..我身边的朋友都是double face的，说一套做一套，更本就没有值得信任的... 在你面前说了他人的坏话，到了他人面前却在背后损你，这种事情就是我大学每天都在面对的..所以我说，我的大学生活对我来说一店都不精彩... 多么的希望时间能快点过，让我顺利毕业，回JB。

我最爱我家了，也喜欢那里的朋友，因为他们才是最了解我，而且值得信任的朋友。

What Is Date Rape?

When people think of rape, they might think of a stranger jumping out of a shadowy place and sexually attacking someone. But it's not only strangers who rape. In fact, about half of all people who are raped know the person who attacked them. Girls and women are most often raped, but guys also can be raped.

Most friendships, acquaintances, and dates never lead to violence, of course. But, sadly, sometimes it happens. When forced sex occurs between two people who already know each other, it is known as date rape or acquaintance rape.

Even if the two people know each other well, and even if they were intimate or had sex before, no one has the right to force a sexual act on another person against his or her will.

Although it involves forced sex, rape is not about sex or passion. Rape has nothing to do with love. Rape is an act of aggression and violence.

You may hear some people say that those who have been raped were somehow "asking for it" because of the clothes they wore or the way they acted. That's wrong: The person who is raped is not to blame. Rape is always the fault of the rapist. And that's also the case when two people are dating — or even in an intimate relationship. One person never owes the other person sex. If sex is forced against someone's will, that's rape.

Healthy relationships involve respect — including respect for the feelings of others. Someone who really cares about you will respect your wishes and not force or pressure you to have sex.

Education and election issues

Education and election issues dominate MIC assembly debate

Delegates at the MIC general assembly held on Sunday

KUALA LUMPUR: Issues on education, scholarships and elections featured in the 90-minute debate at the MIC general assembly here Sunday.

The delegates spoke on better infrastructure facilities for Tamil schools and more scholarships for the Indian community.

One delegate thanked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel for being sensitive to the feelings of the Indian community on the proposed visit by Sri Lanka President Mahindra Rajapakse.

Another delegate said if the 25 committee members of the 4,000 branches approached five voters each, then they would have met 500,000.

Datuk K. R. Murugiah from Penang said there should be special privileges for Indians in the economic and business sectors, including licensing.

Another delegate, Prakash Rao of Shah Alam, said there should be no quota imposed on Indian students to obtain places in the public universities.

"If an exemplary student is denied the choice to pursue his intended course, he and his family will be disappointed and this would be a loss to Barisan Nasional" he said.

He said 28,300 Indian students sat for the STPM this year and there was a need to monitor them to ensure that they were not left behind.

Senator Sivapakiam Aiyam Perumal said couples about to get married should be compulsorily attend pre-marriage courses.

"This is necessary as the divorce rate is high. There is also a need for counselling for youths due to social problems," she said.

MIC Youth secretary C. Sivarraajh urged members to have confidence in the party and speak on the stronger points rather than the weaker points.

"We are a 66-year-old party and we are a strong force. No other opposition party can come near us," he said.

He said the Youth wing had launched the Ops Jelas pamphlet, which provides the questions as well as the answers on the issues raised by the Opposition.

Six resolutions which touched on support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel, government transformation, more intake in the civil service, education blueprint, and skills training and entreprenuer development were unanimously passed.

Teach You Outdoor Shooting

Shooting outdoors offers up many more variables within photography, but also puts a certain strain on the shoot.  Knowing what to do, when and quickly can make the difference between a successful shoot and a total flop.  Here are seven tips for shooting models outdoors.

Scout your location ahead of time. While this isn't always possible, you should, whenever feasible, scout the location you plan to shoot ahead of time.  Take your camera, shoot some stills, and see how things will be framed in your camera.  Also try to scout the location around the time of day you plan on shooting.  Mid-morning looks different than noon, which is very different from early evening regarding light, placement of shadows and warmth.

Don’t rely on the LCD for image review. On even overcast days, reviewing images for exposure on the LCD of your camera can be very hard.  Direct and indirect light can often give you misreading about what is and is not properly exposed images.  If your camera has an option to blink blown out highlights and a histogram, use that option, otherwise take your camera inside, or at least in a vehicle nearby to review images if you must.

Bring a friend to be your photo assistant (PA). Working outside has some great advantages, mainly the natural light and scenery.  There are also inherent disadvantages, like having to walk long distances to get to a particular spot, wind and manipulating the natural sunlight.  Having a PA to help carry gear, hold reflectors and do some of the more labor-intensive work for you allows you to focus better on shooting.

Bring your own light. The sun provides so much light you say, why should I bring more?   Because the sun can only provide single direction light, and often times it won’t be in the direction you need it.  Additionally, you’ll need to fill in shadows on faces from late morning through mid-afternoon sun.

Speedlights are the easiest and most portable, triggering them using remote / radio triggers like PocketWizards is the most reliable.  Utilizing modifiers like softboxes and umbrellas on lightstands will depend on the shoot and your desired look, but keep in mind that both turn a speedlight on a lightstand into a kite if it’s even the slight bit windy out.

Anchor your tripods with sandbags, rocks or even your camera bag to prevent them from falling over.  A monopod or paint poll can also work really well as a light stand that your PA can then hand-hold and manipulate where you need it.

Reflectors and flags are your friends. Another job for the PA, hold the reflector.  The larger the reflector the better in most cases, I often use reflectors instead of speedlights for the simplicity of seeing what I’m getting as I shoot.  White and semi-white flags can be held above your models head to soften the light from the sun, acting in part the way the front panel of a softbox does, and are easily held in place by your PA

Get some distance between you and the model. Unlike studio shooting, location shoots are fun, in part because you can use your long lenses for wide-open depth of field.  This much desired bokeh in shots could be best achieved with long, fast lenses.  If you’re shooting at distances where you are using something longer then 200mm, you may need walkie talkies to communicate to your PA to help pose the model.

The model is the subject; the location is the compliment. Just because you’re outdoors doesn’t mean you need to forget about the model or throw the wide-angle lens on.  Each shoot and campaign you do with models, or even just portfolio building will have a different purpose.  More often than not you’ll need a location outdoors that compliments the model and overall feel of the shoot.  Don’t assume your over-the-top, extravagant location will make up for poor photography; they need to work in synergy.

These are the top ten things that you need to know to Ace exams!

1. Give yourself plenty of time.

   

   
   
   Cramming doesn’t work. It just doesn’t. When you start to study weeks ahead you have plenty of time to read everything. It also gives you time to ask questions about anything you don’t fully understand.

2. Use an Agenda.

   

   
   
   Write your study time in your agenda, even if it’s only 20 minutes a night. An agenda is one of the best organizational tools you have to help you prepare for your exams.

3. Set up a study stadium.

   Okay, it doesn’t have to be an actual stadium—just an area where you can leave your notes, your pencils, and your dictionary. Someplace where you are comfortable and where there is little distraction—that means no TV or blaring music!

4. Look at the big picture.

   
   
   How many pages in total do you have to study? How much time? If you have 50 pages to cover in 10 weeks, then that is only 1page a night on weekdays, with weekends off. That’s not so bad! You can even write down what pages to study on what night.

5. Study a little bit every night.

   When you start early enough you can easily avoid the stress and anxiety of pulling an all-nighter. And, you can move at a steadier pace—20 minutes a night is easier to handle than 7 hours the night before. By the week before the exam you’ll have read everything at least once and you’ll be prepared!

6. Make your own notes.

   
   
   
   Look at the chapter or unit or section. What are the titles, heading and subheadings? Are there any bolded words? Write these down. These are key words, and they are great indicators to help you know what the material is about.

7. Put it in your own words.

   This is known a paraphrasing and it’s a great technique to help you really understand the material. Memorization and rote repetition? That’s for robots? You need to understand the material to succeed!

8. Cover, recite and check.

   But how do you paraphrase? It’s as easy as reading over a page, a paragraph, or a sentence, then covering it up, and saying it back in your own words!

9. Don’t study the stuff you know well.

   Start with the most challenging sections and move on from there. There is no point studying material that you are confident you know. A quick review to make sure you remember everything is enough.

10. Make classroom time active learning time.

    
    
    
    The best study tip is one that doesn’t even involve studying, but happens way before studying—in the classroom. The secret to easy studying is to be an active learner in the classroom. Raise your hand. Ask questions. Participate in discussions. Don’t just sit and wait for the teacher to teach you, get involved in learning!
